The Hornero, designed by Tomás Reynoso from Argentina, is a simple yet highly effective everyday carry (EDC) knife. This knife was named after the national bird of his country, reflecting Reynoso's extensive background in wilderness and survival activities as both a student and teacher. He has had a passion for knives for many years, which has led him to both modify and start making them in his spare time.

The Hornero's handle is large for a 3-inch blade, but it fits the hand comfortably with its contoured mix of tan and black canvas Micarta. This design choice is advantageous, especially for prolonged use, as smaller blades often come with smaller handles. The sheep's foot-esque blade is made from 3/16-inch 1095 steel, featuring TOPS' renowned differential heat treat and a black powder coat finish.

The included black Kydex sheath has a Kydex belt loop that allows the knife to be carried comfortably on a belt up to 2 inches wide, making it easy to have on hand throughout the day. This versatile carry option is a key feature, as most cutting tasks can be performed with blades 3.5 inches or shorter.
